Swim Lessons
-
Refrain from giving your kids dairy or fruit for about an hour before swimming. It causes upset tummies especially if they are swallowing air or water, and can be very uncomfortable, often resulting in throw up or poop. Children complaining of a stomach ache during lessons as a result of eating before entering the water may be removed from lessons and the remainder of the time forfeited.
-
At Little Kickers the cleanliness of our water is a huge priority. One way we do this is to ensure that kiddos who are not potty trained wear properly sized swim diapers with a double layer of protection. According to the CDC, no swim diaper holds fecal material beyond 3-5 minutes. By wearing snug fitting diapers we hope to get the full 5 minutes so we can get the kiddo out of the pool in time. It helps keep everyone safe and prevents shutting down the pool for lessons.
Finis and Happy Nappy
All children who are not potty trained (have had an accident in the last three months) must wear two snug-fitting reusable swim diapers.
The bottom layer must be a Finis brand Reusable Swim Diaper, and the top layer must be a Splash About brand Happy Nappy Swim Diaper.
Click here for a full description with pictures.
Both layers are available for purchase at Little Kickers or can be procured from your preferred online retailer.
Children are not required to wear a swimsuit or additional layer on top of their swim diapers.
Please plan to change into swim diapers no more than 5 minutes before your kiddo’s lesson to reduce the risk of accidents before entering the pool. You are welcome to use our changing rooms or restrooms.
Instructors will periodically check swim diapers during lessons to ensure an accident has not occurred. The quick check will involve placing the kiddo on the deck or above the water and checking the back of the diaper. The instructor or Desk Assistant will notify parents/guardians if further inspection is required.
Children that are wearing improper swim diaper attire will be removed from the water and asked to purchase a pair or change before being able to continue lessons. Disposable swim diapers of any kind will NOT be allowed in the pool.
Do not bring your child to lessons if they have had diarrhea within the past two days.
-
I understand and agree that only swimmers who are enrolled in swim lessons are allowed in the water. Parents/guardians do not get in the pool.
I agree to assume all liability for my child(ren) and myself while at the Little Kickers Swim School.
Parents/guardians must supervise their children before and after their swimming class.
Parents/guardians are required to remain in the Virginia Village shopping center - we need to be able to reach you and have you return as soon as possible in case of an emergency. Please let a staff member know if you are leaving the building to visit one of the neighboring businesses or to wait outside.
-
I understand that I must disclose any of my child’s medical conditions that might impact his/her swimming, safety, and the safety of others (e.g. autism, seizures, ADHD, asthma). This information can be provided in the registration form(s) and in their Wellness Living account. Please speak with a staff member if there are any questions.
-
In order to protect the well-being of your child and other children, sick children are not permitted at Little Kickers Swim School or to participate in lessons.

Drop-In Lessons
-
Drop-In Lessons are billed after your kiddo's lesson and require a credit card on file to book. If you have a Drop-In Package, your lessons will be deducted from that package. If we have trouble processing your credit card after a lesson, we will reach out to you for payment.
Any issues with nonpayment will result in the inability to book future lessons.
If you need to make a cancellation, you must do so at minimum 12 hours before your lesson start time to avoid being billed.
For sick kiddo cancellations however, please text 720.608.1590 by 8:00 AM or 4 hours before your lesson.
There are no refunds for services rendered.
-
At Little Kickers we value our employees and want to ensure we respect their time in the water. As such, if you arrive more than 15 minutes late to your scheduled 30-minute lesson without notice we are not obligated to provide the remaining lesson time. These lessons will then be marked as a no show and either deducted from your drop-in package, if applicable, or billed accordingly.
-
Drop-In Packages expire one year from the date of purchase, regardless if there are still lessons left in the package to use. Unused lessons are not eligible for refund or credit.
Service & Facility
-
Just as it is inside our four walls, your safety is important to us at all times. With the unpredictability of Colorado weather, we have implemented considerations for snow, extreme cold and ice, and severe storms. Depending on the severity of the weather event, we will either issue a delayed start, early closure, or a full-day cancellation. Families will be notified before 7AM or 1.5 hours before your scheduled lesson time. If we need to cancel your lesson, we will do our best to help reschedule impacted lessons.
-
At Little Kickers, the cleanliness of our water is a huge priority. Severe sickness will result in temporary pool closures.
A vomit incident may result in a closure of 30 minutes to an hour, a diarrhea incident may result in a closure through the next business day. As these incidents happen in real-time, we are often unable to provide advance notice of a closure. We will attempt to notify you via text and email if your lesson needs to be canceled. If we need to cancel your lesson, we will do our best to help reschedule impacted lessons.
-
Unless a parent expresses declined consent, it is understood that photos may be taken at Kickin; It facilities, and that any photo taken of children may be used for marketing (e-newsletters, announcements, TV, Facebook, Instagram, social media sites, etc.).
-
Little Kickers Swim School prohibits the possession of firearms at its facilities and offices without the prior written consent of one of the owners of Little Kickers Swim School, regardless of whether the person possessing the firearm has a concealed carry permit.
-
We do not tolerate discrimination or harassment of any kind against our team members or clients.
-
For the safety of all participants, all required waivers must be signed prior to entering the pool.
This includes:
A signed waiver on the parent or guardian account
A signed waiver for each participating child
Waivers must be completed before a swimmer's first lesson. Families who arrive without completed waivers will not be permitted to participate until all forms are submitted.
Waivers can be signed electronically through the parent portal or in person at the front desk.
Recurring Lessons
-
We operate on a 4-week billing cycle. Billing begins on the date of your first lesson, and you will be automatically billed every 4 weeks from that date.
Your membership grants you 4 visits every 4 weeks to cover your weekly lessons.
During billing periods where a planned closure impacts your weekly lesson, that lesson will remain on your membership package for you to reschedule. As such, billing is not prorated for those periods.
There are no refunds for services rendered.
-
For a same-day sick kiddo cancellation, please text 720.608.1590 by 8:00 AM or 4 hours before your lesson so we can cancel the lesson.
Sicknesses That Necessitate Canceling a Lesson:
Diarrhea within the past 48 hours
Fever within the past 48 hours
Ear, nose, or throat infections/issues
For all other cancellations, please log into your account and cancel the lesson through your kiddo’s upcoming schedule. To avoid a penalty for a late cancellation this must be done a minimum of 12 hours before your lessons start time.
If you have canceled a lesson in accordance with our cancellation policy that lesson will remain available for you to reschedule.
In the rare instance we need to cancel your lesson, we will make every effort to accommodate you for the inconvenience.
-
Lessons canceled in accordance with our Cancellation Policy are able to be rescheduled within that same billing cycle.
If, at the end of the billing cycle, you have any canceled lessons that have not been rescheduled, you are allowed to roll them over. You are allowed to have up to 3 rollovers on your account at any given time. Rollover lessons expire after 1 year and will remain available to use if you withdraw from recurring lessons. Please note, canceled lessons are given the opportunity to reschedule; availability to reschedule, however, is not guaranteed.
Your account will always display the number of lessons remaining for the billing cycle we are currently in and any rollovers will display on your account accordingly.
Any Reschedules/Facility Reschedules you had on your account in WellnessLiving are still available to use and have their original expiration dates of 1 year from their date of issue.
We do not issue credit/refunds for classes you have canceled. This includes choosing to cancel a class because your regularly assigned instructor is out and there is a substitute instructor.
Reschedules/Rollovers are not eligible to be applied to a future billing cycle or for any monetary credit.

We will do our best to accommodate your change request based on availability. If we do not have availability, we will keep you in your current time, add you to the waitlist, and be in touch as soon as something does become available. If there is anything specific you would like us to note on your schedule change request please email us at info@littlekickersco.com.
-
We require a 30-day notice for all cancellations
If you submit a withdrawal request with less than 30 days’ notice, your request will still be accepted; however, you will still be billed for and responsible for payment through the full 30-day notice period. No exceptions will be made.
As billing occurs every 4 weeks, you will have already paid for your lessons. Regardless of your withdrawal request submission date, those lessons are yours to use. However, please let us know if you do not intend to use the lessons so that we can open our instructors' schedules during those times.
Any reschedules on your account and/or account credit will remain available to you until their expiration date.
If you do not plan to attend your remaining lessons, please let us know—we’re happy to convert those lessons into reschedules so they can be used at a later time (subject to standard reschedule policies and expiration timelines).
There are no refunds for services already rendered.

We know that sometimes life throws curveballs—whether it’s a sudden illness, injury, or medical recovery period. At Little Kickers Swim School, we want to support your family’s well-being while helping you maintain your swimmer’s spot in the program.
If your child needs to temporarily step away from lessons due to illness or injury, we offer the option to pause your account and hold your spot for up to 6 weeks.
Here’s how it works:
Families may pause billing and hold their regular weekly timeslot for up to 6 consecutive weeks due to medical reasons.
A written note from a licensed healthcare provider (doctor, physical therapist, etc.) is required to approve the pause.
During the pause, no lessons will be charged, and your swimmer’s timeslot will be reserved until you’re able to return.
If the swimmer is unable to return after 6 weeks, we will discuss next steps based on instructor availability and family preference.
Important Notes:
Requests for a medical pause must be submitted in writing to our Front Desk or Registration Team, along with the supporting documentation.
This policy is intended for temporary medical circumstances only, not general schedule changes or travel.
Retroactive pauses (for missed lessons prior to the pause request) cannot be granted.
We’re here to help make your swimmer’s return to the water as smooth as possible. Please don’t hesitate to reach out if you have questions or need support during your pause.
